Reiki Healing for Animals
All animals adore Reiki. Large or small, fierce or friendly. Animals are extremely sensitive to the healing energy of Reiki.
Reiki will go where it is needed most. The animals will often guide you to the exact place that requires treatment by moving around until your hand lands on the exact spot. Animals will also let you know when they have had enough by moving away.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a form of hands on healing with its origins in India and the East dating back many thousands of years.
Reiki is a two syllable Japanese word meaning universal life force.
Rei means universal, - present everywhere at the same time. Esoterically Rei means spiritual consciousness.
Ki is the non physical vitality that gives life to all living things. Ki energy can be activated for the purpose of healing. When you feel healthy and full of enthusiasm the flow of Ki energy in your body is high and unencumbered.
Life seems easier to deal with and you have a higher resistance to illness and disease. The practitioner sets the intention and communicates to the animal that they are in control of the session and will draw in the energy their body needs to heal and balance for the highest good of all concerned.
It is important to remember that the recipient is in charge of the session (animal or human). The practitioner does not diagnose, the recipient knows what is best for them and how the session should proceed. In the case of an animal I trust them and listen.
